I do this once every couple of weeks, but I usually write my reviews within a day or so of finishing the book, otherwise it's blood from turnip time! But despite my hours of work, I know in another couple of weeks I'll be scrambling for time to schedule stuff again.

But it's not the end of the world if stuff doesn't go up - I made a resolution a couple of months ago to not accept or request any new books, and limit myself to one tour every month - I'm much less stressed now :)Kathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14312515005865122767noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6014295473803664042.post-6962631654719569422012-10-21T01:43:07.361-04:002012-10-21T01:43:07.361-04:00I try to review right after I read too - as in I&#...I try to review right after I read too - as in I'm not starting a book until I write down my thoughts somewhere. Sometimes the words just won't come, and I'll have to wait to finish a book to decide what I feel about it, but in that case I force myself to review the second I finish the book. For me the more time consuming part of blogging is the reading itself. I have a lot of trouble finding the time to finish books (I'm kind of a slow reader, I guess :) Usually I make time for writing up posts at night when I have the time.

Jesse @ Pretty in FictionJessehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09095395291184491042noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6014295473803664042.post-18133606346748069392012-10-16T13:16:22.415-04:002012-10-16T13:16:22.415-04:00Oh well *sigh* time for blogging! But I was able to do this for the most part because I always review as I read. I try not to read more than 2 or 3 books before I go back and write a review... even if I just write point form notes/thoughts as I read a book or after I read a book and then go back and write the review later, at least I have my impressions from when they were fresh. I find it's hardest to blog and review when I've let things slip and I have reviews piled up. It's so difficult, for me at least, to go back and think of proper words and feelings for a review when I haven't read that book for a week or more. I think I'm babbling now ( ;) ) but basically for me it's about keeping up with reviews so that when you can schedule posts you have all the content ready to go.Ashley @ Book Labyrinthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02395484656811182553noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6014295473803664042.post-89081772108420058692012-10-16T11:07:57.412-04:002012-10-16T11:07:57.412-04:00Like you, we squeeze the time in when we can. Maybe you use a timer and allot 1 hr every Sun evening to writing and scheduling posts. Or maybe you use blogging as a reward: when you finish your hwk, you get 20 min to do some blog work. {shrug} Just ideas. Experiment. I honestly don't know how anyone that goes to school or works full time has time to blog. I technically work full time, but I work from home which makes finding time to blog a bit easier. That being said though, when my schedule is crazy, it's crazy, and blogging has to take a back seat. I try to work ahead when I have slow weeks - maybe I read and review 5 books that week instead of 3, and then I have 2 already done and waiting for those days when I don't have time to blog.

Usually I blog late at night - that's when I set up all my posts for the next day or write my reviews (though I never write reviews for the next day the night before, I tried that and my brain froze every time). Then first thing in the morning I try to comment and hop around before I tackle work. That way I have the rest of the day to get everything done I need done:)Jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14199685365145765394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6014295473803664042.post-60590316556297055842012-10-16T07:43:18.157-04:002012-10-16T07:43:18.157-04:00To be honest: I have 10 reviews waiting to be writ...To be honest: I have 10 reviews waiting to be written. I write reviews the first chance I get after reading the book. I still don't review EVERY book I read but almost all. Obviously the ones I don't review aren't review books. I actually usually have so prepped posts that I cant see the posted reviews on my lists of posts page. I prefer to post once a day because I think people are more likely to comment if they aren't overwhelmed with posts to read, but this might be a weird logic. But I could probably post twice a day and be good. But yes, it gets time consuming and with my publicity business its getting to be a bit much again so I'm going to be trying to chill out on what I have going on.
I cant imagine having a full time job (outside the home) and blogging.
