Jane Yellowrock is a shapeshifting skinwalker you don’t want to cross—especially if you’re one of the undead…

For a vampire killer like Jane, having Leo Pellisier as a boss took some getting used to. But now, someone is out to take his place as Master Vampire of the city of New Orleans, and is not afraid to go through Jane to do it. After an attack that’s tantamount to a war declaration, Leo knows his rival is both powerful and vicious, but Leo’s not about to run scared. After all, he has Jane. But then, a plague strikes, one that takes down vampires and makes their masters easy prey.

Now, to uncover the identity of the vamp who wants Leo’s territory, and to find the cause of the vamp-plague, Jane will have to go to extremes…and maybe even to war.

See Jane argue with Beast. See Jane lust over multiple hot Alpha males. See Jane kick ass. Major, vamped out, ancient, crazy ass.

Seriously, this series just keeps getting better and better. There was so much depth to this story, so many connections to other characters and even ties to past stories it kept me turning the pages at high speed. However, if you haven't read this series yet, this is one book that's best read after RAVEN CURSED (#4 in the series) because of several important events in #4.

Just one more little tidbit ('cause I was cursing when this happened): See Jane get completely screwed over. Day-am. What an ending! (Oh, and Beast, you have terrible taste in men. Or maybe you're just into dominant guys. Hum.)

  3. It sounds like Jane has very full days! LOL
She seems to be doing a lot of things, too bad about her being screwed over :(

  4. You know what's funny? For some reason, a heroine lusting over multiple hot guys in UF doesn't bother me like it does in YA. I have no idea why. Maybe because I tend to lust over all the hot guys with her? Could be:) Looks like I have some catching up to do with this series!

  5. Hmm...I'm not too familiar with this series. Of course I do love all things vampires. Although I am more in love with vampires than the idea of killing vampires.
